Christian Heritage School was founded in 1976 by a small group of people dedicated to building a biblically based Christ-centered school in southern Connecticut. Through the generosity of the Heritage Foundation and the vision from Pastor Paul and Mrs. June Anderson, building plans were drawn and ground was broken in December of 1976. CHS opened its doors to 53 K-6 students on September 6, 1977 and moved into the new school facility in January 1978.
For 45 years and with over 1,200 CHS graduates from 39 graduating classes, the unwavering vision and encouragement of the founders along with a faithful army of supporters have partnered with parents and churches to prepare a generation to serve Christ and His Kingdom.
