A Legacy Received. A Legacy Passed On.

Dear friends and family of Christian Heritage School,

There is a beautiful picture in Deuteronomy 6. As the people of Israel prepared to enter the Promised Land, God reminded them that they were about to receive “cities which you did not build…houses full of all good things which you did not fill…wells which you did not dig, and vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant.”

I often think of those words as I walk across the campus of Christian Heritage School.

Nearly everything we see here today exists because someone before us prayed, sacrificed, served, built, or gave. For nearly fifty years, generations of parents, grandparents, alumni, trustees, and friends have invested in a vision much greater than buildings and facilities. They invested in children.

They believed that young people should receive an excellent education with Jesus Christ at its center. They believed that children should be taught by gifted and godly teachers who understand that “in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). And they believed that what happens in a Christian classroom can influence a life for eternity.

Today, we are the beneficiaries of their faithfulness and the stewards of that legacy.

The Kingsmen Annual Fund gives each of us an opportunity to continue what previous generations
began. Annual Fund gifts strengthen the mission of CHS by providing resources beyond tuition that help sustain excellent faculty and programs, provide financial assistance to families, enhance technology and security, care for our campus, and respond to important needs and opportunities throughout the year.

Ultimately, the Annual Fund is not about programs, equipment, or buildings. It is about
people.

It is about the teacher who prays with a student who is struggling. It is about a child discovering a God-given ability. It is about a young person learning to think carefully and biblically. It is about graduates entering universities, workplaces, churches, families, and communities prepared to live faithfully for Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul wrote, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth” (1 Corinthians 3:6).
That wonderfully describes the story of Christian Heritage School. Our founders planted. Generations of faithful people have watered. Today, it is our privilege to continue cultivating what God has entrusted to us, always remembering that He alone gives the growth.

As CHS approaches its fiftieth anniversary, we are grateful for those who prepared the way for us. Now it is our turn to prepare the way for those who will follow.

I invite you to prayerfully consider a gift to the Kingsmen Annual Fund. Whether large or small, every gift becomes part of something much greater: strengthening Christ-centered education today and helping ensure that this mission remains strong for the next generation.

We have inherited a remarkable legacy. Together, by God’s grace, let us faithfully pass it on.

With gratitude,
