Library Resources

Christian Heritage School operates two separate libraries.  The Upper School library services both the Middle School (grades 6-8) and the High School (grades 9-12) while the Lower School library services students in grades K-5.

In the Upper School, students may come to the library to study, to do research and to utilize the collection for information and pleasure.  In the Lower School, students attend a library class once a week.  The goal of the program is to promote reading for pleasure and to enable students to become independent users of library information and technology.

The Christian Heritage School Library is automated through Destiny, a web based browser, where you can search the Christian Heritage Library catalog.

ResearchIT CT (formerly iCONN) is part of the Connecticut Education Network. It is a powerful search engine that provides online access to essential library and information resources. Data from magazines, journals, newspapers, the Associated Press Photo Archives, as well as business, health, science, history, biography, and genealogy resources can be accessed through researchitct.org.

Those students enrolled in Early College Experience (ECE) or Early University may use UCONN's resource database.  You will need your assigned Net ID and Password in order to access the many resources such as e-books, journals, scholarly reviews and newspapers.
