Congratulations on an epic win to our Girls Varsity Volleyball team - HVAL Champs fours years in a row!!!

Tomorrow, our Varsity Volleyball team will host the HVAL finals against Harvey at 3pm! Our Cross Country Boys will compete in the NEPSAC Championship at 1:30pm at Marianapolis Prep! Go Kingsmen!

A big CONGRATS to our Girls Varsity Soccer team! They are moving on to the HVAL semifinals this Wednesday at 2:15PM at Williams. Go Kingsmen!

Our Boys Varsity Soccer Senior Game, where we honor our Senior Athletes, will be on October 15th at 4:00pm at Indian Ledge Park. Come out and help us honor them!

Our Girls Varsity Soccer Senior Game is on October 16th at 3:45pm at Indian Ledge Park! Come on out and celebrate them with us!

Our Coed Cross Country Senior Day is on October 29th at 4:00pm at CHS! Come on out and celebrate them with us!

Congratulations to McKenna Haggerty (Gr. 10), Charlie Orban (Gr. 10), Jacob Dineson (Gr. 8) and Lilly Simon (Gr. 8)!  These students were recognized for their commitment to our “Fitness in July” Initiative this summer and received a Kingsmen Strong t-shirt for their efforts.

Congratulations Alyssa and the US Women's National Team on your Olympic gold medal!  These are pictures are from the proud father himself, John Naeher (CHS Director of Operations & Student Life). John says, “We are so thankful to the Lord for all the experiences He has allowed Alyssa to be a part of.”  We rejoice along with you, Naeher family!

The Naeher family has been a cornerstone of Christian Heritage School for over 4 decades. John Naeher, our Director of Operations and Student Life, has had influence that can be seen in all aspects of CHS life. His three children have also left their mark on CHS and this weekend Alyssa Naeher looks to leave her mark on the world at the Paris Olympics. We cheer alongside the Naeher’s for Alyssa, her accomplishments, and how she represents herself, her family, and her community of supporters. She’s hard working, humble, and the epitome of what if means to be a CHS Kingsmen. She credits her family’s support as the foundation of her success in this recent article.

We had a great turnout for our Kingsmen Sports Camps and Open Gyms this year!  Here are some highlights. 

Lower School Girls Basketball - A week of fun, fitness, and fantastic basketball.

Lower School Boys and Girls Soccer - Working hard at developing their soccer skills.

Middle School Girls Lacrosse - Learning new athletic skills.

Middle School Boys Basketball - Our coaches help students improve skills like technique, teamwork, and overall game.

Middle School Boys Soccer - Focused on improving fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. They worked hard, had fun, and built a great foundation for the upcoming junior high soccer season!

We are excited to have you participate on a sports team this fall! Below you will find all the information you need to be ready for the first day of tryouts August 19. 

Please register and turn in all paperwork by August 12.

All 8th-12th graders are invited to try out for our Varsity and JV teams, but 8th graders can also just play on our middle school teams. Those students in 8th grade who do not make the varsity team are encouraged to play on our middle school teams.

To participate in a CHS Athletic Program this school year, you need to complete the following forms prior to the first day of tryouts.

1. Health Assessment Record (needs to be completed within 13 months of the sport being played)
2. CHS Athletic Participation Permission - found on FACTS
3. Sudden Cardiac Arrest Form - found on FACTS
4. Concussion Consent Form - found on FACTS
5. Travel Release Form - found on FACTS
6. Registration Form

Please follow the directions for the forms on FACTS:

• Log in to Parent Portal on FACTS
• Go to Web Forms
• Click on CHS Athletic Forms
• Follow the directions listed

Middle school sports will have tryouts after the start of school. Information on these teams will be sent out at the beginning of August.

Please plan to attend our Fall Athletic Parent Meeting which will include important information from the athletic office in a large group setting followed by an individual team meetings in which coaches will provide team specific information.

Shout out to our JV Lacrosse, Middle School Lacrosse, and Boys Baseball Club as they are new or relatively new programs here at CHS! We love seeing our athletes develop their skills and sportsmanship and are so proud of how far we have come!

As you gear up for the next chapter in your lives, remember that the strength, discipline, and leadership skills you've honed here will be your greatest assets.

Congratulations to our latest NEPSAC honorees:  Sophia Trovarelli - NEPSAC All Star and HVAL All-League, Nick DeBlasi - HVAL All-Leaguek and Daniel Mota - NEPSAC 50Y Freestyle 3rd place and NEPSAC Babcock 2024 Outstanding Student Athlete.  We are very proud of you!

Friday, February 9, we are celebrating our senior athletes with a Senior Night Celebration at 6:30pm in the CHS gym. It will be after the girls varsity basketball game and before the boys varsity basketball game. We will take on Central Christian starting with the girls at 5:15pm and the boys at 7:30pm. Our JV team fought hard against Greens Farms Academy on January 18. Great job team!

Varsity Boys Basketball - Luke Evans

Coach Evans takes over as the Varsity Boys Basketball Coach this season after having previously coached the JV Boys and Varsity Girls Basketball Teams at CHS since 2010. He has a love for the game of basketball and sharing his faith with his players. “I'm excited about the opportunity to interact with these young men and help them grow in their knowledge of the game of basketball.” 

Varsity Girls Basketball - John Naeher

Coach Naeher returns to coaching the Girls Varsity basketball team this season and brings over 20 years of basketball coaching experience. He is excited about his young group of players, “The team will work toward being competitive, living out positive character and maintaining composure in all game situations.”

Varsity Swim Team - Fabiola Mota

Coach Mota is in her third year as the Head Coach of the CHS Swim Team and looks forward to another year in the pool helping her swimmers improve and compete.  A favorite quote of hers is, “A leader is anyone who takes the responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential” - Brene Brown. Coach Mota works to instill this in her swimmers and looks forward to a great season.

Happy signing day to senior Elyse Dube, who signed her Letter of Intent to play women's volleyball as an outside hitter at Carson-Newman University (Division 2 Christian University, Jefferson City, TN).  Elyse, your family, coaches, team and school are so proud of you!

Congrats to Class of 2021 alum, Jordyn O’Driscoll, and her team from Marymount University Women's Soccer for winning the Atlantic East Conference Championship. We love to see our alums thrive!

Recognizing our senior athletic team members is always a special CHS tradition.  This week we honor seniors from our Cross Country and Boys Varsity Soccer teams.

During Officials Appreciation Week our volleyball team honored our officiants at their game!

Coach Cordero joins our CHS coaching staff leading the Cross Country Program this year. She has a background in fitness, nutrition and has loved taking on the role of coach.  “​​As a coach I love the discipline and perseverance the runners are learning; as they train they are not only learning physical discipline but also spiritual and mental discipline. As scripture tells us,  ‘Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us’- Hebrews 12:1.”

Coach Evans has been the Head Coach for our Varsity Girls Volleyball team since 2013. The last two seasons his teams have won the HVAL Conference Championships along with the NEPSAC Class D Championship. “I love watching the growth of my players as they move up and seek to encourage, help, and motivate the younger players in their sport. I love the comradery of the team as they work hard together to be successful on and off the court.”

Coach Kasiguran brings years of soccer coaching experience to the CHS Varsity Boys Soccer program.  He has been an assistant for the program for the last 5 years and prior to that was an assistant coach at Eastern Nazarene College.  “One of the things I love most about coaching is the opportunity to invest in the lives of my players. It’s a great feeling to help my players grow in their skills and understanding of the game of soccer. However I find my greatest joy in coaching is seeing my players grow in their faith, their personal relationships, and their desire to serve others.”

Coach Patton, an alum of CHS and the soccer program previously coached the middle school boys team and assisted the Boys Varsity program. “This season we are hoping to create a culture of positivity, hard work, and determination both on and off the field. I am enjoying seeing our team become a place where the girls can learn how to be leaders for Christ, be examples of God’s love, and unlock their potential as soccer players. ‘Ephesians 4:16 - From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
